How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your LeesSom account and all associated server-side data using one of the methods below.
Option 1: Delete In-App (Recommended)
- Open the LeesSom app.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to Gevarenzone.
- Tap Account verwijderen.
- Complete the two-step confirmation dialog.
Your account and associated server-side data are deleted immediately after confirmation.
Option 2: Request Deletion by Email
If you cannot access the app, send an email to DevDad Support with the subject line "LeesSom Account Deletion Request". Include the email address associated with your account so we can verify the request.
Email deletion requests are processed within 5 business days.
What Data Gets Deleted
- Account details, sign-in links, and stored authentication credentials
- Child profiles, school-group settings, avatars, and preferences
- Learning progress, scores, streaks, achievements, quests, and challenge history
- Friends, invite codes, and social activity related to the deleted account
- Session tokens and refresh tokens
What Data May Remain
- Anonymized diagnostics — crash and operational diagnostics that are no longer linked to the deleted account may remain temporarily in logs or monitoring systems.
- Local guest-mode data — if the app was also used in guest mode, that local-only device data is not part of the server account and can be removed by clearing app data or uninstalling the app.
Important Notes
- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
- If you signed in with Apple or Google, you may also want to revoke app access in your Apple ID or Google Account settings.
- If you signed in with Microsoft, you may also want to review app access in your Microsoft account permissions.
